Make it last

One of the first things you should consider when planning a photoshoot is how you intend to use the photos. In this digital age, I urge you think beyond social media platforms. These photos are an investment in lifelong memories. Use your print credit and frame these beauties!

Session Fee

The session fee covers my shooting time, and reserves your shoot date and time. This fee does not cover the post-work and the digital files in your Collection.

Print Credit

Your gallery is linked to an easy-to-use online print shop. The shop is filled with a variety of lab-quality photo products for you to choose from, such as matted and framed prints, calendars, and greeting cards.

Collections

A Collection is a package that you purchase after you have seen all of the imagery. Each package includes a quantity of high-res images and a substantial print credit to use in my online print shop.

Retouching

I use subtle retouching to balance skin tone, remove blemishes, whiten teeth, and generally clean up the images. I strive to make every slight tweak look natural and unnoticeable.

  Frequently Asked Questions

Can we shoot outdoors as well?

Weather permitting, we can absolutely shoot outdoors.  Please note that the location will need to be within walking distance of your home.

When should I schedule my session?

There are two factors that should align for your session. We want to aim for a time of day when everyone is generally well-rested, while the light in your home is ideal. For most families the morning works best, while others prefer to shoot after the afternoon nap and end at sunset.

What are your Covid precautions?

I shoot wearing a mask and  wash my hands throughout the session. Rapid tests taken by request; testing fees apply.

What should we wear?

Your prep guide will discuss wardrobe but in general you should keep it simple. This is a snapshot of your life. Be yourself and the photos will shine. Avoid uncomfortable, wrinkle-prone outfits, neon colors, and overly formal attire.

My kid is shy. What if he/she doesn’t want to participate?

The beauty of a lifestyle session is that kids don’t have to be ON all the time. I quietly work my way around a scene capturing their love for you without needing to force them into anything. I do believe that if you frame the session as something you are looking forward to, instead of something they have to do, then it starts everything off on the right foot. I play a lot of games with kids and keep it fun and light.
